something I was like seven how do you do this let's paint painting feelings is the worst thing ever I look like like in my eyes too you can see the thing in my eyes I love my freckles natural as you can see I taped like two seconds I take for like two seconds I don't know how you take two seconds and then I got lazy and I think I'm just gonna freehand it I was gonna say unleash your inner artist but we'll see what happens so the crown molding is all painted white now I am deciding not to do the middle one day I was so sick of painting I just want to get my room somewhat together I shall shake it a bit my dad stopped at the junkyard and picked up six pallets for my bed I hope bring those home when he comes home from work but it'll be on the pallets I was asleep right now here's my old bed it's gonna be going in our guest bedroom again and then I found this in the guest bedroom it was in my room like a long time ago and it fits perfectly right there and then I got this little lavender from Amazon it's like dried lavender so that's the bedding that I chose is Ernie being crazy pants I really just like the hallway a little cheetah blanket I think is so cute it was on Amazon for like 15 bucks and I thought it would just bring something to the bed and then as you can see the side of my bed you can't see me the palette so we're going to cut palette in half and then like have a little half palette sticking out because I want to be able to see that my buds on pallets otherwise it's like sticking on the ground and now it's time for a segment called $40 DIYs start at this DIY by using a stud finder to figure out the best place to drill and hold my shells I used my old shelves hardware and replace the once white wood with a darker wood I stained myself with apple cider vinegar and steel wood I drove pilot holes to guide my drill and therefore easily drill my screws into the wall after one shelf was up I repeated this process to have another shelf above to create my clothing rack I used metal pipes and some connecting pieces my dad had it in the shop I screwed the pieces together creating at the same length as my shelves I again drilled pilot holes and drilled the rack in the same way I did the shelves [Music] i decorate the shelves and hung up some cute clothes and tada [Music] so you saw we just went to Ikea and I picked up those two little wooden crates and then to plant the hanging pot and the big burn I think it's a fern I don't know I don't know plant that goes in the corner and we would tie Kia because their plants are really cheap like that big plant was only $15 and normally they like 60 so we got all of that stuff and then my mom got she's a realtor so people obviously sell their furniture a lot or give away their furniture so she found this dresser because mine it looks big but the drawers are really shallow so we're gonna take her old dresser and put it in my room so all the furniture in my room like remodeling this it's all DIY or like vintage or giving that to us or whatever so I didn't buy any new furniture I bought like supplies to make my little shelves and wrap things but the actual furniture I didn't buy any so this is a really inexpensive major room like flip oh the rugs new everything else isn't we just stole out of the lady's house down there watching starting over here this is the dresser that my mom kinda like garbage picked from somebody who's moving and then I have some little dinky stuff over here this little area with a robot my dad made my mom gave me this an old San Pellegrino bottle of eucalyptus and then my TV which isn't even plugged in I wanted to take it down but we're gonna sell her house soon so my dad said believe it up then up here I got this little crystal I don't know what kind of crystal it is from an art show you have this fake plant from TJ Maxx and then this painting basket that's from Ikea and I'm moving down here this vanity is from my old old old room and I put it back in this is just a little suction cup thing I can't do it my mom got it from Amazon you something and then when you open these doors it's just all my makeup and TV stuff we have my bed and then my dad garbage picks these pallets I don't know where the garbage and we just bought my bed on it and then these two little crate I made them they're from Ikea and I just hooked one over to be a little table then up there we have dried lavender and I just got that off Amazon and then the best part my DIY so these little brackets or are from my old shelves and we just found a piece of wood that fit into them and then the wood I stained it to what color I want me with steel wood and apple cider vinegar and then I just put whatever I wanted up there and then we have this that's garbage soap you can and we just screw these little pieces together screwed everything drilled everything into the wall and then I just paint the few pieces that I want to display and then I stick my shoes right here and then right here we got this plant that's from again IKEA and then over here we have a big thing of eucalyptus and these smell like Michaels and jo-ann fabrics and I don't like the way they smell but and then I don't like this thing it's just old from school and it's ugly and that's the finished room oh and this carpet run target okay

#4. If you want your small bedroom appear bigger, go for low heighten furniture.

It is always a decent idea to stay away from tables that are too tall for your small bedroom. Keeping low to the ground will make the ceiling appear cleaner and wider. You can also try using a mattress since a mattress can be easily placed inside the closet when not in use. This will create a lot of space when you are not sleeping. By keeping the bed on the ground, you help the ceiling look more specious.

Just the way you should keep the walls a lighter colour, keep your furniture not too dark or bulky.
Yes, it will take almost the same amount of space, but the trick is that it will allow your eye to keep moving. You can also try leucite chairs and acrylic which are budget friendly and easy to customize.
The headboard

#6. The headboard behind our bed hardly comes in use.

Remove the headboard and add shelves around your bed. The shelving doubles the amount of space you have in your small bedroom. You can also have built-in shelf panels around the bed. This will create the illusion of depth in the wall which you can use to place books, keys, photo frames, etc.

#8. Yes, the length of your drapes is important.

When getting curtains for your small bedroom, don’t just pay special attention to the colour of the drapes, but also make sure they don’t touch the floor. The principle behind this is that letting your drapes touch the floor stops the flow of the room. The same goes for furniture where you should let the legs show. Allow the eye to move by keeping the drapes shorter and legs of the furniture visible. Tie them up nicely so that the room feels airy by ventilation from the room.

#10. The bedside and quilt you use in your bedroom should not have sharp colours or patterns.

Since the bed in your room is the largest furniture in sight, keep the colour of the sheet light. Lighter and brighter colours always help lift the mood too.

#11. Consider your room a painting or a drawing where you have limited space.

You need to adopt the right movement, whether horizontal or vertical. If your windows have vertical lines on it, get the dresser with vertical patterns.nDon’t break the flow

#12. This a pro tip that should not be limited to your bedroom.

A room that is well-managed and organized is always better than a cluttered room.Keep your clothes in the drawer, pens in the jar, jewellery in its box. Leaving the floor clean and the bed made is the first thing that you can do to make your small bedroom look bigger and better.

#13. A small bedroom does not need to have all the furniture pieces small.

However, the thing to note here is that the scale you follow for your bed must be the same for your side table and dresser.

Give your room a sense of unity so that all the furniture pieces stay in harmony with each other.

#14. The colour of your trim should be lighter than the wall.

You might have not heard about it before, but it’s true.

The lighter wall paint on the trim will show more light, thus, more light will be available to show off the wall of the small bedroom.

#15. The colour for your room should make sense.

The colour you paint your wall should at least have some connection with your rug and furniture. Visual coherence is an important thing to master. Choose one colour scheme and play around with it by using similar tints and shades for the rest of your items.

#16. Many of us are not aware of this trick.

The think about transparent furniture pieces is that it tricks the brain into keeping the eye moving resulting into creating space for illusion. Try keeping a translucent chair in front of the desk and it might not even feel like it’s there!

#17. This trick is an obvious one but most of us fail to understand it.

The perception of space can be created by making the right use of it. Avoid having furniture that is too large and always buy a sofa with legs.If you can, purchase a chair rather than a bulky sofa. Also buy furniture that gives more than one purpose, like a bed with drawers in the bottom for additional space.

And that's all for now...
